    I absolutely loved this cabin and it's surroundings. I went alone for two nights and made the most of that fab' hot-tub too. I wouldn't fault even one thing! Jo has put much time and effort - and a keen eye and thought for details - into this holiday home. The pumpkins were fab' for Halloween week and I appreciated the complimentary prosecco and Belgian chocolates! Thanks so much, Jo! I must come back.... 🎃

    Had an amazing few days here, cannot recommend it enough. Jo was very attentive and replied quickly. The cabin was spotless and had everything you could need on a getaway. Stunning scenery all around and a very safe area with great pubs and food. Bonus points for the horses and cute bunnies we saw around :)

    We stayed for 2 nights and it was exactly what we wanted. It was very private, beautiful inside and out, well equipped with everything needed for a self-catering accommodation. The setting was peaceful and idyllic. The hot tub was an additional bonus. Jo was really friendly and helpful, she even accommodated us staying past the check out time due to our plans on the last day. We thoroughly enjoyed our little break and it was exactly what we hoped it would be. Would definitely recommend, 100% a property worth visiting. Thank you Jo for an excellent stay.

    Absolutely lovely experience. Jo was super friendly and even introduced us to the newly born farm foal, Frankie! Lodge was exactly as described, such a beautiful peaceful setting. Hot tub was immaculate and kitchen had everything from herbs and spices to caffetiere. Jo provided a great info booklet and we did the manifold trail walk which was lovely (starting point was only 10mins drive away) . Would highly recommend staying here. Wonderful!

    An amazing two night stay in the Peak District for our 10th wedding anniversary! Great communications from Jo from start to finish. The lodge was absolutely fabulous and in beautiful and peaceful surroundings with the sounds of nature right on your doorstep. The hot tub was truly blissful. Thank you so much Jo and Paul and also thank you for the prosecco and chocolates which were a lovely touch. We would most definitely love to return in the future!

    We had a really lovely stay. The location was ideal in easy reach of some great walks in White Peak and The Roaches. The cabin was extremely comfortable and clean, and the setting in the trees was perfect as you felt surrounded by nature but not cut off. We would definitely recommend Jo’s place.     Our second Christmas at Jo’s cabin and it didn’t disappoint. Amazing accommodation in beautiful, very private surroundings. The hot tub is heaven and the canopy means even when it was chucking it down with rain the morning we left, we managed a quick dip! Jo is a great host, very accommodating and helpful. I’m sure this won’t be our last visit!

    I booked this stay for my boyfriend’s birthday and we had the most amazing time. We ended up staying an extra night because we loved it so much.     Jo greeted us during check in and showed us around when we arrived. The lodge felt really private and peaceful. Everything was really clean and modern. The hot tub was so relaxing, especially with the wet, windy weather, it felt extra cozy. We really appreciated the small touches that's gone into the space as well. We had a short break but felt full recharged after, and will definitely look into coming again for a longer break in the future.

    Our stay at Jo’s airbnb was amazing. Jo was very welcoming when we arrived and gave us clear instructions with everything, which was great. The place is very clean and really good quality. The hot tub was amazing with the rain cover and stayed warm till late at night. Definitely staying again.

    We had a lovely 4 night stay. Jo responded to any questions we had quickly and provided detailed instructions for finding the cabin/checking in. She also came around to show us how to use the hot tub then if we needed anything always responded quickly. The cabin itself was really cosy, clean and done up to a high standard. We loved the little touches of seasonings, oil and a couple of bathroom supplies and thank you for the box of chocolates and Prosecco, a lovely bonus! The location of the cabin is so peaceful and we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub. The welcome guide had everything and more we could have asked for in terms of how things in the cabin worked and we visited quite a few recommended places in the Peak District too from it. You could tell a lot of effort has gone into making this a perfect place to come for a romantic getaway. I’m glad that we picked this for our first holiday together and we will be recommending it to others. Thank you!

    We have had the most relaxing and refreshing time here in the lodge. The environment that has been envisioned and then created demonstrates a knowledge of what people need to escape and switch off. There is a balance of connecting with nature and a high end level of comfort that is brilliant in the basics along with extra welcoming touches.

    We will certainly recommend this getaway to family and friends and will look to make a future visit.

    Me and my boyfriend stayed here for 2 nights as a surprise for his birthday. This is one of the best Airbnb’s I have stayed at for a long time, Jo was there on arrival and gave us a warm welcome showing us to the cabin. The cabin it’s self was absolutely perfect, the facilities were amazing and had everything you need for a stay away! The hot tub was also amazing, especially in the morning watching the wildlife around the woodland. I absolutely cannot fault this place, the small touches made it so special. The local is brill for lovely walks nearby in the peaks! I will be recommending this place to everyone and hope to return in the near future! Thankyou Jo x

    My husband and I stayed in this beautiful lodge for two nights. We were greeted by our lovely host Jo, who gave us such a warm welcome. Inside the lodge she had very kindly left us chocolates and Prosecco. There was everything we needed for our stay, toiletries, cooking facilities, dishwasher, a lovely walk in shower, books, playing cards etc. The lodge was very modern and spotlessly clean. It is set in beautiful surroundings and we loved watching Jos horses and the wildlife, so peaceful. Outside was a hot tub which we loved ( very soothing on my aching back ) and also a private seating area. The only thing we would have changed would be the length of our stay, we wished it had been for longer. If you are considering booking, please do not hesitate. I promise that you will not be disappointed. Hope to visit again, in the not so distant future.

    My boyfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights after we spent 2 nights in our camper van. Safe to say, this was our favourite Airbnb we have visited over the course of the last 2/3 years! We found that it was the little finishing touches which really made this place extra special. The little touches we particularly were pleased about included: champagne, milk and chocolates on arrival. A whole array of different glasses to use (gin, Prosecco, wine) - even glasses fit for the hot tub. The robe and slippers were perfect for relaxing in and also fleece blankets to take outside. The cabin was also equipped with playing cards and dominos - which was clearly well thought out and considerate. Seeing the sky/woodland setting across different times throughout the day was special and a luxury in itself! The bed was super comfy, and the lamps even produced a soft light which in turn leads to a soft, warming atmosphere. Jo was only a message away, and came to say goodbye to us on our departure. The only thing we might be aware of was that the description highlighted an outside Fire pit which unfortunately was not included. We are very grateful for the last few fantastic days we have shared here, we would 100% recommend :) x

    My friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights and we were really pleased with our stay. The lodge has been finished to an excellent standard, and it’s equipped with everything you need. It’s cosy and secluded nestled within the trees - really nice setting. It was really lovely being able to sit outside in the hot tub in the evening too! Jo was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. I’d definitely recommend and would happily stay again.
